Trustees

As provided by the Indenture, University Park Subdivision is governed by a three (3) member Board of Trustees. The Board is elected directly by the property owners of the Subdivision. The Indenture outlines the procedures and regulations under which the Board must operate.

The Board’s foremost responsibility is to uphold the Indenture to preserve the integrity of our community. Working under the constraints of the Indenture, the Trustees oversee the overall maintenance and upkeep of the Subdivision. As representatives from the University Park Subdivision community, the Board works in close contact with University City officials to ensure their responsibilities are met in our Subdivision.

The Board of Trustees meets as needed.  See the Meetings page for the schedule of meetings with lot owners.

Current trustees:

Mike Gillespie – term expires in 2026

Dan Davenport – term expires in 2027

Election of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is elected directly by the property owners in University Park Subdivision.  Each member is elected to a three (3) year term, with elections held at the annual Subdivision general meeting in Spring.  Any property owner is eligible for candidacy and should attend the general meeting if interested in becoming a Trustee.  Nominations will be taken from the floor at the meeting. Votes may be cast in person at the general meeting or by proxy. One vote per lot is permitted.

If a Trustee should be unable to fulfill the 3-year commitment, a special election will be held to elect a Trustee to finish the term. The lot owners will be notified at least ten (10) days before the election.
